Vargas' Doom Hole

FF3 Vargas Edition Info

Okay... Basically, Vargas Edition is simply a text hack of FF3 for humorous purposes. Although it's not near to finished yet, (See Current Progress Here,) I have received enough badgering from my friends to put it online, and perhaps enough badgering from you folks will give me enough incentive to finish it...

As of yet, I haven't found a utility to hack the text in battles, such as in the Whelk battle. If anyone knows of a prog that can do this, contact me. Heck, I'm a comedian, not a hacker. I have no desire to go digging through hex when I have the lines themselves to worry about.

I do have plans of making further modifications to the game once I finish the text modification, such as character-specific spells, new weapons (BURRITO!), and certain new enemies in the colusseum (*snicker*), culminating in a complete overhaul. No graphics or map changes are planned, however.

Feel free to send in suggestions for modifications to lines which I have changed that suck somehow, or suggestions for unfinished parts of the game. I already have plans for a lot of the upcoming parts of the World of Balance, and I probably won't pay much heed if I already have a plan, especially concerning the rejoining of the party and Gesthal's banquet. On the other hand, I am at a COMPLETE loss when it comes to the opera. I've even considered leaving the text the same and replacing Celes' sprite with that of Kefka or a moogle for a cheap laugh.
