Before Altaire Da'aut

As legend goes, before the creation of Altaire Da'aut, there was a single god. This god was old, even he did not know of his origin. He lived in darkness. Yearning for companionship he gave up a part of his own body and mind to create four companions. Pyros, to whom he gave the title “God of Fire”. Titan, who was given the title “God of Earth”. Aeris, she was given the title of “Goddess of Air”. Aquanea, she was blessed with the title “Goddess of Water”.

Each of these beings, which he called Elements, quickly befriended their creator. God was overjoyed for now he had what he had wanted. As time passed they worked to construct a residence for themselves in the darkness, so that they would have comfort. They called this wonderful place “The Pantheon”. More time passed and a two of the Elements became restless

Aeris requested that she be granted permission to create a world. A world that she would be able to fill with life. Reluctant, God, granted Aeris her request. Aeris created a world filled with magnificent winged creatures. Some were large, some were tiny, the large ones she called “Atlans”. The small ones she called “Fairies”. Atlans were tall and slender, with milk white skin, beautiful feather wings, and long pointed ears. However, unlike the other Fey, Atlans were very arrogant. Time passed, and all the Fey grew lazy, only wanting to do things of pleaure, and merriment. Aeris tried adding more beings, such as centaurs, satyrs, sprites, and pixies, but all of them suffered the same fate. Aeris, tried threatening them, but they didn’t fear her, for she had granted them immortality. Disgusted in what had happened, she abandoned her world.

Titan also requested that he be granted the same permission. God, granted Titan his request. Titan created a world of stone, and metal. He filled the world with only one type of inhabitant. These subterranean creatures he dubbed “Dwarves”. Dwarves are small, and well built, their skin used to be the color of bronze. They are a quiet race, dedicated to their work. As time passed Titan grew bored of his world, seeing it as a place where pleasure and excitement would never exist, he left the world to evolve on its own.

When Aeris, and Titan returned to the Pantheon, they found out the other Elements had grown bored in their absence. The four decide to hold a meeting, a meeting that they hoped would improve their, and their creators lives. At the meeting they discussed numerous things. Among the discussions was the solution of creating another world. A perfect world. A world that the four would create and rule together.
